Iron Panda is a robotics team that has been participating in the FIRST competition since 2010, with the FRC team number #3728.

All of our student members go to Harmony Science Academy Houston High School. We hold the Harmony Early program for our youngest engineers, organize fundraisers and charity drives, and compete in the FRC (FIRST Technology Competition), the FTC (FIRST Robotics Competition), and the SCBest (Space City Boosting Engineering, Science, and Technology Robotics competition).

What is FIRST?

FIRST is a non-profit organization that promotes robotics and organizes robotics competitions to inspire a love for technology within students.

FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) was founded in the year 1989. Besides promoting science and engineering to young minds, it creates a strong bond between the members of each team competes in one of its competitions. It also creates new bonds of friendship between teams from different schools.
